Additives to reduce PVC in products by changing the stimuli smell

Additives to reduce PVC in products by changing the stimuli smell
Polyurethane foam used in the production process to the tertiary amine catalysts will often have a strong odor while in fog on the Windows in the car. To solve this problem is to find alternatives to these amines. One is the use of polyhydroxy compounds, polyhydroxy compounds are not only components of polyurethane molecular chains, and also the same with catalytic activity. Polyhydroxy compounds can even replace half of the tertiary amine catalysts, smell of the resulting product is weak.
PVC extruded or rolled phenol stabilizers are also often used in the process are replaced by zinc type of stabilizer for low odor. Stannous octoate of heat stabilizer is commonly used because of its low odor and low spray characteristics of PVC products for cars. Oil plant extracts such as erucic acid and oleic acid than animal amine extraction of oil lubricants (for polyolefin, polystyrene food packaging material) smell of much less.
